They have made up their mind on who they are taking, but aren't saying. Have not told the player. Their phone is ringing still, but he said if you ask every team in the NFL right now, theirs is too.
Like I said above, still talking about dealing Albert, but IMO didn't sound to optimistic, said Albert is a really good "LT" and OL are near and dear to my heart so...

Kurt Warner just predicted that no qb will be drafted in the first round. I agree with that.

Earlier...our former GM said that Albert wasn't that great and not worth a 2nd round pick. LOL Honestly, I share that view but hope we can suck someone else into a trade. I do think Fisher actually is the best pick in this draft for #1. Frankly I like the idea of starting over at OT every 5 years to free up money to plug inevitable holes with FA's. To me, 9 million a year equates to an astonishing number of burgers that then evolve into sacks.

Frankly the draft should be approached as a 5 point plan...with rotating needs, qb, lt, wr, cb, de....leave the rest up to the scouting department and first rate coaching and just steal FA's to plug in the rest. You will always be competitive and young and have plenty of money to effectively steal someone else's star.
