Question...If we play Albert at LG this year and franchise him again next year, would we pay him at the Guard level or do we still have to pay him as a LT?

I believe we would have to pay him 10% more than the first year of the tag so position would not matter.

Actually, according to wikipedia, it doesn't matter anyway as all O lineman are lumped into one group. And I was wrong, it is a 20% bump from the previous year (or averaage of top 10 at the position, whichever is greater and I assume that average will not go up by more than 20%).

Good news if Albert stays is, Fisher seems more than happy to play any position on the line they want him to. Nice to have versatility in o-linemen.
