Chris Ballard will oversee pro and college scouting departments for the Chiefs. Comes over from Chicago where he was the head of Pro Scouting. Take over both Phil Emery and Ray Farmer's positions.

Per Brad Biggs of the Chicago Tribune, Ballard's new title will be director of player personnel.

It didn't really remain vacant. Jim Nagy was promoted when Emery left, but Pioli basically ran that department.

Ballard has been responsible for such picks as Matt Forte, Charles Tillman, Johnny Knox, Nathan Vasher and Tommie Harris for the Bears. Pretty damn impressive!

Pretty sure Nagy isn't with the team anymore. Right around the same time Farmer left Nagy's name was removed from the staff directory page on kcchiefs.com. He was in the picture taken of all the scouts huddled together at the senior bowl, so was Farmer. Wouldn't be surprised to see him in Cleveland with Farmer and Lombardi. Same goes for the rest of Pioli scouts

Tom Heckert going to denver is interesting. It will also be interesting to see how Dorsey structures the Personnel side. GB has college and pro scouts like all teams but they cross train them too.

Any news on any more FO moves TBG?
