As with any new regime, right after the draft heads start to roll.

I guess his new roll with he Chiefs is in charge of College and Professional scouting. Hence, the promotion to get him away from the Bears. Hope the title didn't mislead anyone.

Cool it really is 2009. Dorsey / Reid get a pass for an abortion of a draft.

Well, and going forward there is now a scapegoat in place. Still I thought player personnel was John Dorsey's specialty. Perhaps there was too much on his plate this offseason and he wanted to add another body to handle some of that end of it.

Or he just wanted his own guy, you know, like all other GM's.

Nobody gets a pass for anything. But the idea that this is already being judged as a bad draft is ridiculous. Most are rating it as an average draft and a few late round hits could make this a solid draft.

Funny thing is the lowest grade I've seen on this draft was a c, majority being B's and one even had an A-.

If they changed the Niles pick I think most on here would grade it a B-ish draft. Hard to overcome no 2nd round pick, but what's done is one.

The pick was a definite love or hate with absolutely no in between.

If that pick was Bray everyone here would give them a B.
