Though he would most suredly draw fans there because of his ties to the Florida Gators the circus that follows Tebow is just too much.

Evidently not even the Jags want anything to do with him.

http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2013/05/08/caldwell-reiterates-no-tebow/

For now, Jaguars G.M. David Caldwell is reiterating his position that quarterback Tim Tebow will not be joining the team that plays in the city where he was raised.

“For us, it was always about a fresh start,” Caldwell told Alex Marvez and Bill Polian of SiriusXM NFL Radio “It was about new energy here with coach [Gus] Bradley, with Shad Khan being our new owner, myself as a first-time general manager and a coaching staff that has a lot of first-time coaches there, too.

“We just wanted a fresh start. We didn’t want the same recurring themes coming up.”

Perfect example of how ESPN can create a myth...a story and pound that into peoples heads over and over and over again til people actually believe the guy is a real qb that can compete in the NFL.

I dont know why anyone would bring the guy in...hes a huge media distraction and more importantly the guy simply can not play qb in the nfl.

Why doesn't he just accept being a tailback (or whatever you call it)? Does he have pride and/or ego issues?

I don't think he'd play for an owner that looked like the Jags owner.

Maybe the Church can create their own team so that their leader can play Quarterback again.

Dear Supreme Being,
Please help Tim Tebow hook-up with Sally Struthers, so they can both help impoverished children in developing countries.

Thanks....

He's Alex Smiff on steroids. This site would be drowning in Tebowites if we picked him up.

same (a little)

You can't tell me he's not better than a fair number of backups in the NFL for what he can do.

But teams, understandably so, want to avoid the circus that would come along with him.

Tim can thank ESPN and the like for that.

I wasn't trolling. I'm actually curious as to why he wouldn't consider playing a position to which he is better suited.

Tebow is better than Cassel and Smith. People just want to say he's no good bc ESPN says so.

If Belichick brough him in and Brady had a bad first half. There would be dipshits in Tebow Patriot(not real pat fans) jerseys chanting TEBOW!!. And not just skip bayless.
He's sort of a stadium/fan cancer.

Thanks for hiding this here and not a new thread. I hate Tebow threads.
