Tiger Woods had a ball in New York City Monday night.
After attending the Met Gala with girlfriend Lindsey Vonn, the couple headed to the star-studded after-party at the Boom Boom Room on top of the Standard Hotel, where Woods, 37, had too much to drink, according to Us Weekly.
Friends help each other out when they get a little tipsy, and since the pair say their relationship started out that way, it makes perfect sense that Vonn had Tiger’s back.
An insider said, “Tiger looked uncomfortable” as the 28-year-old beautiful blond ski champ led him through the crowd.
The couple was reportedly spotted checking out the city’s skyline before taking their seats to enjoy conversation and drinks. Vonn and Woods even reportedly engaged in some PDA, holding hands and kissing for most of the night.
Woods seemed a little out of sorts after having drinks at the Met Gala after-party.
But as the drinks took effect, Woods supposedly got up and danced awkwardly before grabbing Vonn’s butt. She laughed about the affectionate tug but soon became a bit more serious as the night went on.
By 2 a.m., when the couple started to exit the party, Woods apparently fell while attempting to walk up a small flight of steps. According to a witness, his tumble caused him to freeze until a stern-faced Vonn came to his rescue, helping him to his feet and guiding him on their way out. Woods was reportedly swaying a bit after the fall.
The couple were the guests of Vogue magazine at the Met Gala. The magazine even dressed them.
The couple made their debut that night on the red carpet at the gala as Vogue’s guests. The magazine even dressed the duo for the occasion.
Although Woods had a bit too much to drink at the after-party, Vonn had his back like any good friend would. After all, they both said their relationship began as a friendship that grew into something more.
