The answer for me is that if you have been on the internet long enough, and aren't trying to get laid, boards are more fun. Fuck Facebook, if I wanted to talk to people from the past I already would be. I usually browse tons of sports forums, etc. You get to know people in a sense that is harmless for the most part. I don't add friends on sports, or other, boards and shit. It's just something to do when you are bored for a few hours, can't sleep, etc. Getting messages from people that you went to high school is just stupid. If you are trying to get pussy, I admit it changes things. There are married people who at best try to see what ex's are up to, worst...try to hit it. I don't see anything good about Facebook at all, and Twitter is just retarded period.

Social networks are all connected these days. I use Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Vine, and Tumblr, but they're all closely linked via crossposting. So it's hard for me to think of them as separate things to be ranked; they're all just different parts of a single online entity.

I never wanted a facebook page. The reason I have it is because of an ex-girlfriend who kept saying she was going to create on for me for a cohple of years. What I see a lot are self-important rants every time some political story comes out. It's almost always garbage.
Then a few people start squabbling in the comments. It's inane. And people will like anything so when someone gets a few likes for their dumb comment they think they said something funny or inspired.

That's why I like twitter better. People (in my opinion) aren't as willing to retweet garbage their friend said or tweet garbage themselves, because if you do it will cost you followers fairly often. There's a risk to tweeting crap or retweeting crap because you won't get followers and you might lose them.

Kind of. My big 3 internet sites are (in order of number of daily visits from most to least) 1. ChiefsPlanet, 2. Facebook, and 3. Reddit. I probably see the most "stuff" on reddit, post the most on CP, and read stuff about the people I care about the most on Facebook. The problem is that Facebook doesn't change that much after you weed out the obnoxious people, so CP is much more fast-moving.

I didn't get on Facebook for a long time. When I moved to Florida it was a way to keep in touch with family and friends. Post some cool pics of the beaches I visited. The new house I bought on the water. I like to stay caught up on my friends and families going on's.

I would also like to know how we can stop the scourge of clip art and like this BS on Facebook. I don't want to be rude and tell you to quit posting that crap or de-friend you but its got to stop.

I'll visit tumbler, pinterest, Google+, Klout, Pheed, Linkedin, Clingle etc. when I'm surfing around or to catch up with friends that use that use those social media's.

I connect with the clip art type sentiment of other people on Facebook but I think FB is kind of cool in that the way I use it with lots of pictures of things I was involved in or people I was with that independent of other people using it I will be able to look back and have a mini history of my life from age...23 (or so) on which is cool to have.

Everyone needs to see pictures of the back of cars that were taken while on road trips, thats a given. Wow, cousin Janet collects ceramic vases. Oh! Oh! And there is the giant snake uncle Mike killed.
