oh I don't know -- alex smith is crummy, and stuff..

because, you know -- the word mediocre is a general term for middle of the pack performance.

I remember when we all cheered like lil girls for Bowe & Charles during the 2010 season -- how they electrified fans with huge plays all season long. there was the catch in the end zone by Moeaki early on, and then there were the plays Bowe made -- his tipped-to-self TD was spectacular. Jamaal, coming off the big effort the previous season with a Chiefs game setting record against the Broncos, then all he does to follow it up the next season is go all pro when he totaled 1935 APY, 230 carries & 8 TD's with that dominating 6.4YPC and we all knew he was the man -- he made that happen with lil help.

But, they were average. mediocre. 14th in the league that year.

I'll take it. right now. It'd be good to build on going forward. It's a new system that'll likely take this team 2 seasons to fully utilize.

I'm kind of expecting 14th in the league. somewhere in that range of teens.

If Smith can get these guys lined up right, he will have success here for a few seasons until the Chiefs move on to a younger QB. I'd give Smith 2 - 3 years and that'll be when the hook comes out.

Might be enough time to get Bray up and going. It's going to be up to him, he has to put in the effort there, obviously. I'm looking forward to seeing how he plays during pre season. I have a feeling it's going to be hilarious at times. But, gotta start somewhere. he might get going here. Then again, he might be Brokie Croyle without the accuracy. We shall see.

Baldwin maybe total shit but he had no quarterback to throw him the ball. I doubt Alex Smith is that much better but he gets an excuse with Jonathan Baldwin off the bat. Curious to see how the sweeping changes in our front office and coaching staff will propel this team to more wins. We still have some glaring weaknesses obviously, as most teams do, but if Alex Smith can come in and not shit the bed and convert a decent 3rd down %, we should win at minimum 6 or 7 games.
