The

Ohhhhh, oh oh oh oh ohhhhhh chant.

I think it is from a late 80's new wave/punk song. Possibly Rocky Horror.

I have a cd where a dj cut it into one of his mixes. Being a dj mixup, no credit is given.

It is pretty successful. I think a college football team started the use of it.

Anyone?

That would be Seven Nation Army by the White Stripes.

I heard it virtually every time I watched a college basketball game this year as well.

Seven Nation Army and it started in soccer.

Ravens and Heat used it. Pretty successful.

If there were more fans at the Q I would start chanting it. Unfortunately, these days there are as many visiting fans at a Chargers game as SD fans. (Yes, when I moved to So Cal I converted to the local team.)

I guess if I lived in Buffalo or Cleveland and saw SD on my Fall/Winter calendar that would be the away game I would choose as well. Hopefully they move to LA soon.

If we EVER chant that at Arrowhead, I'm out. No more.

Don't turn Arrowhead into douche central.

But you go to so many games!

Hearing it on TV would be just as bad.

It's a matter of time. Ironic, however, that you dislike it. Figure it would be the music in one of your upcoming videos.

Which Miami chant are you talking about? You mean "Let me back into the game"?

I don't understand what "successful" means when referring to this chant. Unless you just mean the coincidence that both the Heat and Ravens won championships this year. But it's been around for a while. It's the unoriginal douche chant.

WHY do people do it?

I don't understand the disdain for the chant. Unless it's copying someone else and being unoriginal. Personally I love The White Stripes and Seven Nation Army, but I agree, I'd hate Arrowhead to jump on the bandwagon at this point and just be followers. Wouldn't have a problem with it had the Chiefs been good and Chiefs fans were the originators of the chant though.

I liked it when only a few teams did it. Now that 600 college teams do it, I hate it.
