I turned it on and coincidentally only saw the final two minutes. A couple of things I noticed were that the Chiefs offense never even went to third down on that final drive, always converting on first or second down, and that Montana didn't throw to a wide receiver until the last play.

That's why the game was voted as one of the greatest Monday night games of all time. Your theory has more holes in it then Darrent Williams limo. BTW when Peyton throws another clutch interception in the playoffs and retires nobody will give a shit that he was ever a donk. That's if that brokedick can make it through the season uninjured. But I doubt you'll care because you'll be frontrunning for another team by then

Well Elway won a SB 15 years ago. Guess that matter either.

the Broncos won 2 SBs, back to back, and Elway is in the same HoF as that Niners QB you admire so much. I admit that the Broncos have not been in the SB hunt for a while. In 2005 the Broncos beat the Patriots in a playoff game which was nice. In 2011 the Broncos won another playoff game with TT. But you are correct, it's been a while since the Broncos have won a SB.

A friend and I went with Chiefs Travel to see this game live, two busloads of fans road tripping to Denver.

Three quick stories from the trip

1.Stopped in Hayes Kansas on the way out for a break and a couple on our bus got busted behind a truck stop smoking a joint and the cops made them take their baggage off the bus and hauled their asses to jail. :(

2.Met Frank Boal at a Denver brew pub and he bought us a beer and we talked about the upcoming game and I remember him saying there was no way in hell the Chiefs were winning this game.

3.Elway scores that last TD and the Denver faithful around us were rabid, pointing their fingers giving us shit and out hostess says we should head back to the bus with 1:37 left and my drunk ass stands up and says **** that we'll walk back to KC that's Joe Montana down there we ain't going anywhere. Our entire group walked out together after the win all doing the war chant and tomahawk chop!

Last season really put my concerns at ease. Peyton may dominate the regular season one more time but never underestimate his ability to throw an interception in the clutch. The donks window is closing fast.

In fairness, at least six Denver wins are asterisked because they occurred during the era in which Denver was confirmed by the league to be cheating on the salary cap.
