Got to thinking and realized the anniversary was this week.

I'm Cancer Free for 30 years.

Too many things have happened on the positive side to count, but it's apparent to me that the Big Guy had a plan for me. Wife, three kids, and any number of people that I think I've affected in a positive manner either personally or professionally.

I'm blessed. Just thought I'd share.

I lost my Mom to cancer on Easter Sunday last year. It does my heart good to see someone look cancer in the eye for 30 years and give it the big F You! Congratulations! May you live a long and happy life!

This is awesome, keep doing what you are doing.

On a side note my wife is still going 11 years after the doctors expected her to be dead. But the disease is slowly still taking it's toll on her, almost bed ridden now. The fear is starting to set in now with her about death, but just like you, we feel blessed she is still here with us.

Awesome.

And looking at this made me suddenly realize something: I have no point of reference to comment on the bastard that is cancer. No one in my immediate circle- mom, dad, brothers, daughters, exes, in-laws, acquaintances- has had the disease. I'm knocking on all the wood I can reach.

Keep kicking that ass. Sometimes good things actually do happen for good people.

That's awesome BC!

Like others here that crap has affected our family and I've lost too many of them to it so it's great to hear when someone beats it.
