Just to be clear, do the Chiefs get first opportunity to claim any player, cut by any team from here on out?

If so, this gives Dorsey and Reid some solid opportunities to upgrade the roster with quality and depth.

Some times, players become victims of the numbers game.

You can find some real gems out there.

The Chiefs will get a great deal on some of the future HOFers the Broncos will be forced to cut due to the roster limit /Knowmo

Manning also didn't have to clear waivers, which is what I think the OP is talking about.

This roster has talent, but not a lot of depth.

We have decent depth for the most part. Our glaring weakness is WR depth.
