I am not debating his past. My whole point was to trade him while his value is high. I think Maxwell can fill the role and he isn't great in the field, either. It is nothing against Butler but his insistence on being fat isn't helping his hitting or running and it is only going to get worse as he gets older. Far too early to see if Maxwell maintains his consistency- the dude is producing with the Royals almost as much as he did in his 40+ games in Houston. That's an anomaly you don't bank on this early and its not like there's any rush to pull the trigger or even any indication you could get fair value moving BB.
