Do you like? Discuss.

He made it where kniles Davis ran out of gas and got caught last week on a return.

The return game looks much improved. Seems like whoever returns looks good.

I never liked seeing teams give up a roster spot just for a return specialist.

True, my fellow Chiefs sufferer.

Better hire than Alice. We did have punt blocked though............

ya, the upback should have at least tried to cutblock that guy blocking the punt before he got there.

Can he deal like Tamarick Vanover? Takes a special talent.

I say keep him. Sometimes you just have reward someone that makes plays. I don't really like Davis. Once a fumbler always a fumbler. You just can't do that in the NFL anymore, even on training wheels. I'm reading where Hester might get cut, money. Well?

At least someone on the team can get a touchdown.

I probably could have returned that kick 50 yards.

Toub is a freaking magician.

That's just ridiculous and untrue.

Adrian Peterson had 20 fumbles in his first three seasons and six fumbles in the past three.

Guys improve on ball security all the time. Especially young RB's.

This entire team will better even if nobody is high on Smith. Our defense will be stout and is loaded with talent. We are set at RB and at TE is pretty good but our WR's will set us back. Past Bowe there is a void of depth. Andy will have to wait until next year to fix our problem at that position. He and Dorsey fixed the staff and did what they could at other positions. Can't fix it all in one year. I also still worry about the interior of our O-line.

No way they should cut Davis. His ability to take the ball to the house with his jets is enough to keep him.

give up on Davis after two preseason games? Seriously? I'm glad many of you armchair GM's aren't actually in charge.

Kind of makes you question hesters actual ability. Look what toubs done here in pre season hes playing pick-a-tard plugging them in and it looks phenominal.

I'm not sure if he's that good. The blocking was superb.

We could be punting from midfield a lot this year with these special teams giving us great field position.

The same thing crossed my mind last night.

I admittedly don't read every thread, but it doesn't seem like this kid has been discussed much. What does everyone think about him? Do you think he's better than Lewis? Are his picks "right place right time" or do you consider him a legit ball hawk? Discuss.

Every pick he has gotten is right place, right time. That said: at least he caught the ball, even if they were glorified punts.

I called him a kid...didn't realize he's 28 and been in the league that long...

has the ball skills of a KR so he can catch those interceptions

athletic and physical

seems to be more of a SS to me but is athletic enough to play zone. Used abdullah and Demps in a bracket zone last game and it worked well.

Don't know if he is better than Lewis but i would like to find out. The lack of impact by Lewis is irritating. At least Demps can tackle.

Show me the pick that someone made being in the wrong spot at the wrong time.

Being a ball hawk means you know where the ball is going, are there on time, and have the hands to secure it without penalty.

Ed Reed is a ballhawk. Demps happens to be the pot of gold at the end of a rainbow.

if k.lewis doesn't improve he may get a start @FS, then we'll know much more if he can play significant snaps, or just a solid contributor, which he certainly has been to date.

Mr. Laz

I believe Lewis was in the area for that 'punt' interception and he didn't even know where the ball was

Demps found the ball and ran a good 10-15 yard to catch the ball, Lewis didn't/doesn't make that play.

unless Lewis is the "Quarterback" of the defense and crucial to calling the secondary plays there isn't much downside to replacing him with someone.

I really like players who have a knack of being in the right spot at the right time. It takes preperation to be lucky.
