I think we have already in two preseason games had more significant plays than the last two years regular season

Kick off returns of 104 by Demps and 79 by Davis

Punt returns of 55 by McCluster, 52 and 22 by Wylie and 26 by Richardson

A blocked extra point. Whens the last time we saw that !!!

On the other side , Succop is nailing the ball. I think the best starting field position on KO's for the opponent has been like the 26. Coverage has been great.

Colquitt had one bad punt of like 28 yards dropping the ball on the 18 of San Fran yesterday but other than that he's been phenonomal. Sticking punts inside the 5 and demanding fair catches from opponents return men. I think Breaston had an 11 yard return in NO but thats it.

Again Coverage has been great.

Props to special teams coach Toub for the turnaround.

Your special teams looks awesome. Looks like the best part of your team.

Sure will be fun to watch! I remember one year in the early '80's I believe when Albert Lewis blocked a ton of kicks and KC made the playoffs largely on the play of its Special Teams.

Yeah the returns in particular have been crazy.

It's just two meaningless preseason games so far but it almost looks like Dave Toub = Devin Hester

Toub was a great pick up.

Toubs has been a awesome addition. I also see a lot more effort on blocking PAT. I actually see them coming around the corner like a freight train and diving to make the block. Years before, I always use to say "They should make them buy tickets for just standing and watching the kicker.

I think given the time to grow Wylie and McCluster could be special. I'd prefer to see McCluster on punts (where he seems better and Wylie worse) with Wylie on KO's...

Other than that blocked punt, MVP Dustin Colquitt looks like he is in mid season form. He can kick drop the ball on a dime 5 yards from a touchback.

Cross breed Baldwin with a Tall White for a punt blocker.

OOOh . I completely forgot about the blocked punt. That just never happens to us. But Colquitt made a spectacular tacle on that . Right ???

We have to keep my man Agnew on the point after blocking. I've already adopted him symbolically.

Yep and the girl on the pinto looks good after a score too. So we are mostly set.
