Your critiques are about as shitty as your comparisons. When is the last time I posted about a particular candidate? Seriously your vadge bleeds in everythread.

They beat ManU? Even I know who ManU is. They are the New York Stankees of English Soccer.

Pretty much. Though they seem to be part of a group that could carry the title along with Chelsea and Man City.

Rooney & Chicharito weren't there, sure, (because of the World Cup) but it was hardly a 3rd string team for them. Prime-of-his-career-Berbatov, Welback, Cleverly, etc. all played at Arrowhead

we might as well just do away with all champions league competitions and just give the title to SKC

Nani as well.

KC with a 10 man side who subbed on a lot of our own non starter players.

They're the somewhat sexy a popular pick. In a second tier behind Portland and Seattle.

Speaking of Portland and Seattle this is what their game looked like last night.

MLS is minor leagues for soccer

Which means nothing as a point of comparison. There are so many, many soccer leagues in the world. It is nowhere near as clean of a break between 'minors' and 'majors' as we enjoy with baseball leagues.

English premiere has the best setup out of any sport.

what do you mean by "setup"?

Promotion/relegation? Almost every country except the US has it. It's not unique to England.

Down to brass tacks, I've followed ManU too long for Sporting to supplant them yet. But otherwise, it's like my fandom of the Royals and the Cards. Royals are my first love, but Cards have been entertaining and inspiring me firsthand for nearly 20 years now. So I root for both, until . . . again brass tacks and they face off.

Really looking forward to watching more and more of Sporting, and rooting against Seattle.

REALLY REALLY looking forward to ABC's Premiere League coverage.

HDTV is really the best thing to happen to soccer in it's history in America, IMO.

That said, re: the KC v Montreal clip. Man, oh man, does skying a shot inside the 18 bug me. Second only to missed PKs in my pet peeve portfolio. Missing wide is one thing. Right to the keeper is one thing. Sending a shot that close in into the stands over the crossbar, unless you are seriously out of shape in your approach drives me CRAZY!!!

SKC may make you pull your hair out a bit. Good attacking flow through the field and great at chance creation but suspect finishing has kept them from being MLS Cup Champions the past few years.
