Hello:

I don't have DirecTV, so I'm looking for a way to watch Chiefs games online live. I see that NFL has an online option, but only replays after the conclusion of the Sunday night game.

Are there any other options out there?

Thanks for any suggestions.

Oh, informative huh...well if you know anyone in the KC area you could go the Slingbox route. IMO there's too much bullshit involved in trying to use online streams.

Just find a sports bar that has Sunday Ticket.

You must not pay that much attention to the dozens of threads about things like this around here every year.

Your options are as follows, in order of what I'd prefer if I were you:

1. Find a friend with NFLST and see if they'll let you use their online streaming through DirecTV.
2. Buy Madden 2013 Anniversary Edition on Amazon and use that code to get access to NFLST.
3. Use a VPN in the Netherlands and use that to access NFL Gameday for free.
4. Use a site like FirstRowSports to get access to shitty-quality, ad-infested streams.

There are threads about all of these options on here, so you can look for those for the details.

I think everyone kind of glossed over this because the poster isn't all that well-known, but holy shit...this is awesome.

Basically, $1.99/month and a DNS server change on your computer/router (once), and it automatically routes you to the international versions of various websites like NFL Game Pass - no VPN required, and you use your own internet connection with no slowdowns.

I'm currently watching the TNF game on an NFL Game Pass 7-day free trial, after which I will likely subscribe to the $59 package to watch all the Chiefs games.

Oh, and I'm sending it to my Chromecast.

VPN is only required to start session.

Once the console is up, just drop the VPN. I get full 4500 no problems (as long as not using shitty old computer). I've been using Game Pass all season.

My VPN provider is also on sale right now for $2.99 a month. It offers a lot more benefits than a pay for filtered DNS. No offense, just not a fan of DNS services like that. Don't trust 'em. If you need that, just find out the addresses for the international site versions and add them to your hosts/resolv.

Eh, I don't need any of the security features of a VPN, and I like something I can do once and be done with. No worrying about turning it on and off. I just set it up on my router, and I'm good to go for any device in my entire house. But both options have their benefits for sure.

If I sign up for it, can I use my account for multiple locations? Say my house & a buddies house?

I think it's one location per account. You actually have to go on the site and confirm your IP any time you're in a new location (though you can move it around at any time without issues).

I use Hola Unblocker inside Firefox. Turn it on, select some far-away land, and log into my gamepass account. Once logged in, turn off Hola and launch the player. Profit!

Yep. Free proxies are great too. Just hate the idea of serving up your DNS traffic to someone else. That's just asking to get fucked. Let alone the security implications of it, your online traffic is now being logged/analyzed/sold by ANOTHER fucking asshole.
