Yeah, the fact that Rex Ryan always stood so adamantly next to Mark Sanchez made me question Rex Ryan's ability to coach a team. Mark Sanchez is the equivalent of Matt Cassel, and Matt Cassel should never be a starter in this league again.

Rex Ryan and Sanchez have gotten closer to a Super Bowl then the Chiefs in the last 20 years.

I felt bad for Sanchez.

Rex Ryan’s decision to play Sanchez in fourth quarter of a meaningless preseason game was reckless and irresponsible.

Giants’ players say they were surprised that a starting quarterback was out on the field with third stringers who were trying to make the team.

According to the press, Sanchez appeared surprised when he was called into the game late in the fourth quarter. One reporter says Sanchez was running around looking for his helmet.

He might be a decent backup for someone. There are quite a few in the league who are worse
I can think of one (or two ) in Minnesota who falls into that class. Jacksonville,Tampa Bay, Tenn etc.....

For the sake of argument: if KC would have taken Geno at 1.1, he sat behind Alex until an injury or Geno was ready what would we really be out?

Would Geno be an upgrade to Chase?

Would it be a bad thing to have Smith/Geno/Bray as our 3 QB's?

Is Fish really that big a loss?...

I kinda feel bad for Sanchez actually lol....in relative terms anyway...he made his millions if all else fails. But kinda feel like he had some potential but the Jets ruined him.

Mr. Laz
09-12-2013, 05:31 PM
Sanchez needs to leave New York and go be a backup for another team. He can calm down and start learning and maybe get back onto the right track.

The problem is that i'm not sure he WANTS to do that work and get back on the right track.

He might be prima donna douche who doesn't what to do what it takes to be an NFL starting QB. He might enjoy the fame more than actually playing football.

No question the Jets didn't help, but he had a reputation for the usual SC post-draft bullshit as well.
