Yeah I thought about that during a few games on Sunday, including the Charles hit. In the open field they aren't supposed to be able to lower and lead with the helmet. The way they called the play worked for me though.

In the NCAA, it is illegal. I assume the NFL would prefer to go the same route. You could even make an argument that it was a forearm to the neck area, thus making it a penalty in the NFL as well.

Agreed, the best part of it was that would normally be considered pretty low with the game over, however I like to think of it as Sammy saying "If you want garbage yards and catches it comes with a price buddy"

Also watch the Chiefs #22 on the sideline, he's hilarious and you just know he was going "ooooooooooo" then looked like he giggled a little bit.
