Will Andy be boo'd?

In Philadelphia?

Seriously?

Were you looking for a way to kill 2 minutes of time?

Hes going to get booed.

They are still blaming him for everything that is wrong with the defense.

Philly's a tough place. Id like to think that his first time back they would cheer him. They had a lot of great seasons under Reid, just short of a superbowl 3 straight seasons, and got to the big one but couldn't overcome the Patriots.

They had a few rough seasons recently, but there's only so much you can do without talent.

Its Philly though, so they will probably light him up.

Watch for batteries Andy.

I hope after the Chiefs win, Andy sits at midfield eating a big plate of Oklahoma Joe's.

I know philly well enough and have been reading some boards.

There will be more cheers than boos when he walks on the field. Most Eagles fans wanted a change but still respect the guy.

I hope so.

This will make for epic footage when persecuted Andy defeats the evil city of Philadelphia and climbs the steps of Rocky's throne before thrusting both fists into the air in vindictive triumph.

"So, you came back to die with your city."

"No, I came back to stop you."

Dear God, he'd thrust his fists into the air from a severe coronary.

You can say ass here.

Come to think of it Andy might be mistaken as Santa tonight. :hmmm:

I thought the red and white colors make him a de facto Santa now. It will be hard pressed finding any snowballs though - the weather is absolutely perfect.

Yep. There will be SOME boos I'm sure but his reception will be more positive than negative.

The worst thing we ever threw were batteries. And that was at the Vet, a much different place to watch a game.

Reid said he expects a "warm Philly welcome", whatever that is.

Perhaps similar to what McNabb got?

It'll be kind of like when Marty came in here with San Diego after he left KC. They'll be more hospitable to Andy after he retires. Time has a way of doing that. KC fans generally like and respect Marty now that he's out of coaching, and not bringing other teams in here to face us.

He will get a decent amount of cheers. PHI hates on a lot of stuff, but they also get pretty nostalgic. During the tenure they hated that he didn't win a SB, but looking at him now some will appreciate what he had. If PHI sucks for the next 5 years, then Andy will be looked in an even more favorable light. Flyer fans do the same thing.

Exactly. McNabb got a warm reception and then was the enemy once the game started. That will happen with Reid. Philly has some tough fans. It is very hard to win them over but once you do, you're golden as long as you don't dick them over. I always sensed that Reids exit was more about 'time for a change' vs 'we hate you.'

They will give Andy Reid a cheer and ovation before the game he may get a bigger one than Donivan McNabb when they honor him at half time.

I'm sure after the game starts the Eagles fans will quickly turn on Andy Reid and he will get to listen to insults but just from a few jesters.

It definitely was time for a change, and he deserved the booting for some of the decisions he made in the past few years (see, all defensive coordinators not named Jim Johnson).

It's still early but, so far, he seems to have fixed that problem.

Well, he tried to get Sutton while in Philly, but the Jets denied him.
