I imagine it's higher than people might expect.

15-20% I'll say or whatever number that is when the poll goes up

Don't know about 53 man roster but I bet at least 1 guy makes most teams each yr.

I almost guessed 5-9.99, but after pondering kickers and punters I went with 10-14.99.

5-9.99%.

2.5 per 53 man roster

53 guys on a team. Seven draft spots a year (plus compensatories). I guessed 10-14.99%, but now that I'm considering the numbers, I wouldn't be shocked if it's higher.

I know we're "special" because we had a huge amount of turnover from a 2-14 season last year, but check out the Chiefs roster:

Rookies:
Tyler Bray
Mike Catapano
Marcus Cooper
Knile Davis
Eric Fisher
Nico Johnson
Travis Kelce
Eric Kush
Josh Martin
Bradley McDougald (was on the roster for Jacksonville, and not the practice squad)

That's Bray, Martin, and McDougald. 3/10 = 30%

Considering the other bad teams in the league from last year like us, plus the good teams that will likely bring that number way down, I think 15-20% is a good guess. 10-15% as well. I don't think it's higher or lower than those two.

I couldn't wait. I did a little research. Hmm.

I missed the point and said <5% but now that I see what you are saying more clearly, I'll say 10 - 15%.

Chiefs are pretty typical.

270 Rookies on opening day rosters
79 of those 270 are UDFAs

29.2%

I was surprised it was so high.

That means 191 out of 254 draft picks made the roster. That seems about what I would expect.

They try harder. Like a fat girl sucking a dick.

Seventy nine of probably more than 800 who tried.

So 63 drafted players didn't make it but 70 undrafted did. Pretty balanced.

And I voted wrong, I did not read as fraction of rookies, I read it as fraction of the 53. Take one 5-9.99 vote and put it at the 20-24.99 category.
