NFL Films made an 8 minute video about Berry's crippling fear of horses.

I always thought it was kind of a joke, but it seems like it's a real phobia. Hopefully it's therapeutic for him to hit Broncos.

And Chargers?

I've never figured out the Chargers. It seems like they're named after a horse, but then why do they have lightning bolts on their helmets?

It seems that there's some question about the name, so I'm not the only one who's confused.

Technically raiders could also come at you while riding a horse. So he can take out his aggression on the entire AFC West.

Yeah, I don't have what you'd probably characterize a phobia of horses, but I do have a lingering apprehension based on the first time I rode a full sized horse. I was about 11-12. The horse was as docile as could be. But I had this overpowering sense of 'push come to shove, I am NOT in charge here.' Reality is, based on his training, if I had any idea what I was doing I, for all practical purposes, probably WAS in charge. But all I could focus on was how much bigger and stronger this beast was than I, and all it took was a moment of pique from him and I was flying yards to an awkward landing.

Ironically, I actually was attacked by a dog in my youth [9 yo, bit off half my ear], and have had nothing but affection for them all my life.

ROFL Good lord. But I don’t blame him, horse bites suck. I can believe it that would traumatize a kid. Sucks bad enough as an adult.

I'm not afraid of horses, but I get it. I don't like spiders and being afraid of a horse seems a whole lot more realistic than that.

Do you still have half an ear, or did you get it reattached? Or did you replace it with a miniature ear trumpet?

I had a girlfriend when I was 15 that lived out in the sticks. They had a few horses. She always had me ride this male that was kind of a jerk. We were riding along and he runs under some low hanging branches to promptly remove me from his back. Never cared much for that horse, but it never stopped me from riding. Not that I do that much but every once in awhile it is enjoyable.

That's why I went with 'lingering apprehension.' Feel a lot more under control in a 500 HP automobile than on a 1 HP horse. But both CAN be enjoyable.

We had four horses growing up. We had this massive mare that was like a draft horse or something, and all she wanted to do was run. Had to have a steel hand to reign her in once she started galloping. One of my friend's moms was looking at buying her and took off on her. This horse was extremely tall as well. The lady started galloping her and couldn't get her stopped. The horse made a beeline at a full gallop for one of the hay sheds (with flat corrugated metal roof at neck height). The poor lady had to bale off the horse and broke her elbow or risk decapitation.

We felt horrible.

Was just about to say this. Love when I see Chiefs players wearing Royals gear and vice-versa. I saw Hosmer at Gram and Dun about 3 weeks ago and he was rocking a Chiefs cap. Badass.

That's true. If somebody came riding in on a spider I would have reacted 10 times worse then Eric did. That's a funny video. Berry has been my favorite ever since he stared down the Ravens for celebrating in our endzone prior to the playoff game.
