That is true. The Lake area is hit pretty hard by meth heads.

But actually Jefferson County south of St. Louis is the big area. Basically picture the hilly wood areas around Jeff City and the Lake and put it right outside St. Louis with lots more people.

Speaking of meth, I actually had jury duty for a meth maker. I had no fucking clue about meth going into it, now I know way too much. Some scary shit and its stuff that all of us have in our houses right now.

the Joplin tornado blew at least 30 "incidents" into Greene county

there's no way in hell there have been less than 20 incedents in Texas. Shit there were probably 16 incidents in my county last night.

This is how they're defining "meth incidents". So recognize that these aren't arrests for meth use or meth sale. They're more or less seizures of labs or former labs.

The statistics reflected on the following reports have been extracted from methamphetamine laboratory seizure incidents entered into the National Clandestine Laboratory Seizure System. Seizures entered into the system are classified in one of three ways: Operational Laboratories, Chemical/Equipment/Glassware seizures, and Dumpsites. Data reflected in map format are cumulative totals of the three types of seizure classifications occurring in each separate county.

These figures can be verified by contacting the Missouri State Highway Patrol at 573-526-6305. The Missouri State Highway Patrol's Division of Drug and Crime Control serves as the collection and entry point for statewide methamphetamine laboratory seizures.

It's lab related, I'm sure they get most of their meth from Mexico, no need to produce when you can get high grade for cheap.

I see the liberalization of Kirksvile, including shipping up busloads of inner city dirtbags and dumping them in public housing, has done wonders for the Adair County crime rate.

You can't smoke a cigarette anywhere, but apparently there's more than enough meth to go around for everybody.

I can tell you for certain those numbers are not legit. Having lived in Arizona, there is no way in hell they've had 0 meth incidents. I think it may come down to the way they are reported in each state.

What they mean by “meth incidents” is they seized meth making equipment/material, a.k.a. busted a meth lab. Since meth has been increasingly imported from Mexico the numbers actually make sense. The states with the high numbers are where the hillbillies are still making it themselves.

we know from stats reaching kids after they have developed an appetite for meth and other hard drugs, chances of success are less than 50 %.

Much better to educate kids before they possibly develop into methheads. Hell, we know the make up of vulnerable children much better now than ever, yet our stats are worse.

From last year to this year-the numbers drop off. Meth kills. Eventually the % of the population that is dumb enough to cook it or do it- will either blow themselves up, go to prison, or rot away from the inside out. It is a problem that will handle itself with time.

As mentioned 'Winter's Bone' is a pretty good look at meth life in mid-Missouri. Here's a short story by the same author about another mid-MO fellow dealing with a couple hillbilly meth heads. TV shows to the contrary, it ain't real pretty out there.

Yeah, but there are plenty of adults who do know but that doesnt stop them.

In fact, i was behind a 20something at walgreens today who was trying to buy a single box (the only amount that wont get the cops called) of pseudo filled cold medicine, but he couldnt because he couldnt provide ID... dude was in pajamas at 3pm, itching on his neck and arms, hair all ****ed up...
