I was hoping he would get one when he started helping out on Robinson side covering Cruz. That was coaching putting guys where they need to be for success and adjustments. Fuck yeah. Good job Demps!

ADJUSTMENTS - what you do at half time when you have legitimate coaching...

They shut down the deep balls to Cruz & it paid off that one play our defense wasn't going have any more of that.

I like Demps, don't get me wrong. But that interception was too easy to give him credit. Eli overthrew his receiver bad. There wasn't a Giant within 15 yards. It looked like he was throwing it to Demps.

Lewis couldn't have ran fast enough to get to it or wouldn't of had the ball skills to pull it down.

Demps used his kick return speed and skills to catch that 'punt'

He was still making plays that counted and that one counted.

He saved our ass on Cruz side after we gave up that one big play for a TD. We shut that shit down with Demps. He deserves a game ball.

Should change the name of the thread to Demps' punt return. That's basically what it was.

Sutton seems legit.

Thought that would be a good idea to put him on punt returns but then Dexter did a nice job breaking one for a TD.

Lenny says penetration was the key to the game.

Why? Lewis isn't playing bad himself. He's the deepest man on 8 out of 10 plays. He's been pretty good at his job so far.

His problem has been he's had to play through injuries.

Him and Berry were both at about 60% for most of last year.

Being healthy makes a huge difference...

did you see Demps make a play along the sideline to breakup that pass? He almost had an interception. Lewis doesn't make the play

The 'punt' interception ... Lewis doesn't make the catch. In fact if you go back and look at the play, Lewis didn't even know where the ball was.

Lewis isn't half the defender Demps is in the running game. Lewis is just as likely to be seen whiffing on a tackle as making a good stick

Demps seems to be more durable

Demps is a quality special teamer

Demps is very productive, Lewis is often invisible

Lewis is 3 years younger

Lewis calls the secondary plays(maybe)

No brainer to go with Demps
