Initial thoughts?

Titans have a nice defense and Locker has been solid. I expect a close game with defense, special teams playing a big role for both teams.

20-17 KC

I'm not going to be all that upset if this is the first game we have to lose. The Titans are just like us. It's going to be strength against strength and weakness against weakness all game. Could go either way.

I have absolutely no worries about this game.

The Giants game worried me.

The Tits don't. At all. In any phase of the game...

Wallcrawler

Alex Smith is definitely the more stingy of the two QBs when it comes to turnovers. The Titans will have to work to get the ball from us (unless Hudson crams his head up his ass again and snaps it to nobody....). Our D is legitimately fearsome. I think Locker will make a couple mistakes, and if our offense can capitalize, we can take the game.

As a titans fan too I really think some of you aren't giving them enough credit. Not saying the titans will win necessarily but this is going to be a close game. Locker has shown a lot of progress lately that a lot of people refuse to accept for some reason. Still has some accuracy issues but he's developing well. Right now their offense is better than the chiefs but the chiefs defense has the edge on the titans. I still think the chiefs will win but it won't be easy

Look, I'm a Chiefs fan. I'm pessimistic by nature and kinda iffy at my most confident about the Chiefs. But the reality is the Chiefs have a better QB, running game, defense, coaching and special teams than Tennessee. The only one I suppose you can argue is the running game, but CJ is averaging 3.7 ypc and they're more of a volume team than KC. Charles is more efficient and clearly a superior player.

The other guy had it right, as an AFC team this is an important game, and the Chiefs SHOULD win it. If they don't I strongly believe they'll look back on it in January and kick themselves.

Agreed...I don't like writing this but I see a 19-0 record in a Manning's future.

Best KC can do is get the #5 seed and hope the #6 seed beats the #3 seed so KC can get a couple of playoff victories b/f getting beat by Denver again in the AFC title game.

I just don't see anybody beating Denver this year the only question is will anybody stay with 2 TD's of them. (and YES I know they play KC 2x & NE all within a 3 week time span w/the last 2 away).

Titans expecting Fitzpatrick to start Week 5
The Nashville Tennessean reports the Titans are expecting Ryan Fitzpatrick to be their starting quarterback for the "coming weeks."
Jake Locker suffered a right hip injury in the third quarter of Sunday's Week 4 win over the Jets and sounds like he'll be sidelined for multiple games. Fitzpatrick came on in relief and completed 3-of-8 passes for 108 yards and one touchdown. His arm is significantly weaker than Locker's. It's a big downgrade after Locker was off to such a good start for the 3-1 Titans. Look for the Titans to rely on the run game even more, though there are some seriously tough matchups on tap. Tennessee hosts the Chiefs next week. The Titans then travel to Seattle before hosting the 49ers. Their bye comes in Week 8.
