This is the date of the Raiders game at Arrowhead. This is also the date advertised for reclaiming the title of Loudest Stadium in the NFL. Who's going?

Wish I was, but I'm trying to go to the Denver home game. I believe it will be louder for that game.

I'll be there but we are not breaking the "record"

Can we count the decibels from the flyover as well

We could get the record back then right

Goal - 136.6 decibels to tie Seattle.

Loudest it got this past Sunday? Around 110.

Is it free chili day? Because then Arrowhead should easily break the noise goal.

I wish they would move this to the Denver game. With a packed stadium and a meaningful game I think we could make a respectable attempt at the record. The giants game was okay in loudness considering we were going against an 0-3 team, but wasn't even close to how loud it was say Monday night verse the chargers in the stadium opener. Plus the stadium really wasn't that full for the Giants game. Still a lot of open seats but definetly better than last couple years.

I didn't think anyone was going to break this record. Now that it's been done, I'm going to be pretty disappointed if we can't beat those caffeine freaks in the pacific NW...

I'll be there giving it my best

I think the Arrowhead record is around 118. Obviously there might have been some unrecorded times higher than that, but to get to the Seattle level will be impossible without some sound speaker help.

The Seattle stadium has better acoustics for it, wasn't it designed specifically for sound?

If we hit 110 this last Sunday then we had to be over 120 on the Chargers game. I couldn't even hear the helicopters flying over the stadium before kick off. Give us another night game and a chance to tailgate most the day. The fans would get arrowhead rocking.

The scream of a little girl is louder than the yell of a man.

Yup.

Not gonna happen. The 110 was impressively loud (though not the loudest I've ever heard it).

I could see us getting it to 120 or so, but I don't think there's a chance they get to 136.6.

Arrowhead was designed to retain the sound as well.

It's not getting to 136+ in Arrowhead, folks. As DJ said, maybe 120.

I wish the networks would put the decibel meter up occasionally like they used to.

That's exactly it. They have a cool looking stadium and that's about it. If they need an artificially induced record to feel better about themselves that's fine. They'll never have the same tailgate atmosphere as arrowhead.
