Also, for your entertainment, they put a mic on Brian Cushing again. Gary Busey, look out.

So nice to see the leader of this D for the next decade in action. He's grabbing the role by the throat in really his 2/3rd season (injury and following season were sort of null and void IMO).

Man I hadn't thought of this. I think you're absolutely right. I think it would be DJ or Hali if they were vocal but they aren't.

I think Eric Berry as the leader of the defense is happening organically. I couldn't be happier about that.

All those years ago watching youtubes of the Fifth Dimension taking picks to the house and laying out Tim Tebow like a rag doll and now he's the leader of the number one scoring defense in the country.

The thing that has improved the most with Berry's game is his instincts and his ability to be around the ball when a turnover occurs ( INTs/fumble recoveries)

Two things:

1. Joyous laughter after a good play.

2. "Get that ball, Eli."

I love this fucking team.

Beat me to it. We have our leader out there holding people accountable. I loved him telling the team that this game would be on them, that they needed to get that ball. He won't let this defense take a break because that is how he was raised to play the game. Defensive Captain all the way.

Could very well be my favorite Chief of all time by the end of this season.

Im from TN.
Berry is the 1st and only high first rounder that I wanted over any other player.
I have watched every game he has ever played college and pro. Only player I can say that about other than.....Bray.
I also started at FS and SS in HS and my number was..you guessed it. 2 MFn 9.
It doesnt hurt that he may be the most physically gifted safety ever, and possesses the highest caliber of character that a man can have, and is smart as a whip to boot.
Berry to KC has felt like fate from the day his name was called.
In my mind he was sent to the Chiefs by GOD himself(Im not serious Dave Lane, save it) to restore our defense to its rightful state of dominance.

Go Berry.

Go Chiefs.

Go Buffalo Trace.

My glass is empty. Ill be right back.

Can't decide whether this would freak Urc thaFuck out and leave him a puddle in the corner, or get his adrenaline going so hard he'd be a juggernaut.

Guy is about everything you want in a football player.

Find me a safety playing better right now.
