Put Gabbert under center for the Broncos.

Manning is QBing the Jags.

All other personnel is exactly the same as it would otherwise be this Sunday.

Who wins?

The Broncos by 14.

Manning's good, but the Broncos are a good team on their own.

Let's not be silly here - there's a shitload of talent on that Broncos squad.

Peyton would cream throwing to Justin Blackmon and Cecil Shorts with MJD in the backfield. You kidding me?

Ban Peyton Manning!

I agree it would be the Broncos. Come on the Broncos won a playoff game with Tebow.

So basically they won even without a QB.

They had Jesus on their side, so that didn't count.

Even with that Jags offensive line?

Yes. Peyton would heal Joeckel's broken ankle by touch and all would be well.

I did not consider his healing ability

He'd be dead by the 2nd quarter. Monroe and Joeckel are both gone - he has literally zero NFL tackles on that roster and his interior line is pretty awful as well.

And Blackmon/Shorts is a major step down from Thomas, Decker and Welker.

And that's not even getting into the respective defenses. The Broncos, even without Miller, have a some very good players on that squad.

The Jags would get thumped.

Denver can't stop anyone from scoring. They remind me of the Martz Rams/DV Chiefs...

Eh, I know that's the narrative right now, but it's damn hard to keep teams from scoring when your offense is just constantly churning.

You can't name many high-powered offenses that also had decent defenses. They happen, but not often.

I'm not saying the Broncos have an elite D, but I think it's probably pretty close to average. I think they'd keep the Jags to about 17 points, even with Manning, and I think Gabbert could do enough with that WR corps to get the job done.

I don't understand the fixation on the Broncos when I'm on a kc fan board, you are correct about that...

Would Manning have HIS offense in place with everyone? No? No pass pro...

Jags lose, and Manning is carted away by halftime.

Pasta Little Brioni

He's propping up a lot of guys out in Pile High....of course Jags would win. Look at Indy the year after he left, that would be the Donks with Gabbert......and Assweiler.

Rain Man

Great question.

I'd probably go with the Manguars at this point. Manning is worth 7 or 8 wins by himself in the modern NFL, which is a sad truth about the state of the league.

Free the defense! Let my defense go!

It's a team sport but from what I have saw hasn't protected him or made plays when he did deliver the ball accurately.

Even with that Jags offensive line?

Peyton has such a quick release that he doesn't really need a line. He just won't be able to go deep very often.

Pasta Little Brioni

Gabbert had ALL day to throw on a play in STL and still threw the ball 20 yards over the defender that went for a Pick 6. Anyone arguing his team would be better is foolish. Manning turns turds like Chris Clark and Slowshon into the illusion that they are solid players.
