The 1984 Bears hold the record for most sacks by a team in a season with 72.

Right now through 6 games we have 31. At our current pace, we are set to have 83.

Just amazing what this pass rush is doing.

Shame we can't play the Raiders at home again...

Sacking Manning is going to prove to be difficult though.

Should collect some sacks against Houston. Duane Brown, Wade Smith and the rest of the line has been terrible.

Jacksonville got after him pretty damn good today.
People get close to him, but generally the ball is gone. Looking at the stat sheet I didn't see a single sack even today.

Total for last year was 27 (Hali led with 10).

Team had a total of 10 in 2008 (Hali led with 3).

Yep.

I chuckled to myself while thinking that our defense got more sacks in one game then the entire 2008 season.

Shit I hope we can re-sign TJax for on the cheap. He's playing himself into a nicely paid contract once he hits FA.

Jax D got some hits on Peyton. I think we match up with those pukes pretty damn well but right now the Chiefs need to bet the Texans. All things considered I don't think that's an easy task.
