Irsay appears to be in the Jerry Jones mold of "no news is bad news". It's a silly comment to make, insinuating that it's easy to win in the playoffs and advance to the SB every other year.

I'm sure Elway enjoyed the comment as well, considering how much he really liked Irsay's father... this should be an interesting one. Irsay is also planning a little "appreciation ceremony" for Peyton prior to the game, I just can't imagine that he'll participate though.
