if I didn't finally hit the all elusive Royal Flush on a progressive video poker machine while only having $1 bet. That one little extra quarter to play max bet ended up costing me another $800 in winnings :deevee:

I've always taken pics of my larger winners with my phone,in fact just shortly before hitting the royal I hit a straight flush on another machine.

I remember being in Caesars sportsbook back in '04 and taking a call from my mrs and a guy behind the desk points at me and starts coming towards me all but yelling,"get off the ****ing phone."

Other than that instance I don't know,of course Caesars had a sign that said no phones in the sportsbook that I had not seen.

I would think if I was doing something wrong my ass would've been called down sometime ago because we all know the eye in the sky in those casinos don't miss a thing.

They let you take pics in the casino?

No, no casino will- its just tough to stop in the day and age where everyone has a camera on their phone. If they spot it- basically you gotta be spotted by someone on the floor, they will ask you to show them deleting any photos taken or kindly tell you to leave the gaming floor.

I've done it in the past on a number of times, no problem- except 1 time an attendant happen to be walking by and was outside my field of vision. Even then, I had already snapped a number of photos, and I simply showed him my deleting of the last picture I took.

I don't really see the big deal, but I guess they don't want to chance it ? As if pics of a winning slot are going to help people cheat or gain some advantage.

its possible you're right, but I took that pic above your post in front of 2 floor people at the Bellagio that were standing there holding a w-2g slip for me to sign. Didn't say anything but congrats to me.

yea 5/5 hit and was betting $5 a draw. Put a $100 in the machine and probably got about 6 pushes in when I hit. Those particular machines are by the caramel lounge at the bellagio. only keno machines I can find in mgm resorts that pay out good if you hit.

Don't blame ya. It should be that way. Stick with whoever takes care of you. I've racked up comps my first year going to Vegas from mgm so I just stuck with them. I try gettin comp points in other resorts but I don't stay there long enough to leave a mark and get offers in emails. off topic, I'm sad about O'Shea's still. That place was such a hole in the wall, but it was a diamond in the rough and usually ended my drunken nights in Vegas there because everything was cheap! ha

I love those hole in the wall places on the Strip. There's not a lot of them anymore. Always had a great time at Casino Royale.

That's what's so great about Harrah's resorts the damn things seem to be everywhere so your comps keep growing. In Vegas alone I think they have 9 properties plus here we have one in KC and two in Council Bluffs.

Yeah O'Shea's being torn down was a sad sad day

I always understood the no picture rule was so people felt free to gamble, including those who were there with a woman other than their wife, those that didn't wish to be seen gambling, drinking, etc.

I don't think the no pics thing is enforced anymore. YouTube is rife with videos of slot machine wins. There's one video of a marine winning a $2.9 million progressive. His buddy holding the camera keeps going, "dude, you're a fucking millionaire!"

wait... so people play video poker at casinos? That seems weird, like going to a restaurant and ordering a PBJ.
