How do you propose to manage the logistics nightmare of moving a Sunday game to Thursday or Monday when fans buy tickets months in advance. Then you have accommodations for 150 players, coaches and staff who travel with the team. It's one thing moving a game from Sunday afternoon to evening but virtually impossible to move days when most of the planning and arrangements are made months in advance.

It's the way things are selected that screw over TNF. SNF and MNF are selected in a draft type scenario, followed by the daytime games on CBS and FOX, then TNF gets the leftovers.
