There's probably no question they are. The 2003 Chiefs, for instance, would beat the dogshit outta this team. This putrid offense can only score low 20s even on bad defenses, and you think this D, good as it is, will hold that 03 offense under that? Not a chance. Pathetic losers like the Browns put up 17 with 25 mins to play and, really, should've had 27+.

Still an amazing turnaround and finally good to see some success, but we all know Smith makes them frauds, and anyone who hasn't yet accepted that is gonna have a sore ring in a couple weeks.

I think he admitted a few weeks ago that in his world, a great team can score points. He doesn't believe in a defensive centric team, and I don't believe many of us here do either, in large part because of the Marty years.

It's up to the Chiefs to earn that respect. Win two straight on the road and I'll think people will shut up about it until the playoffs. Get worked by Denver and we are who they thought we were...

I don't care how this team wins games but only that they find a way to win them.

Its hard to win any game in the NFL (just look to the record last year with 2 wins).

A team with a losing history needs to learn how to win these close games by any means necessary and we are.

The Bills are on their third QB this season. Their defense is much improved and their head coach is a keeper. They're a team that is VERY tough at home.

I won't be suprised if they lose next Sunday. At the same time, I think a loss wouldn't be bad, as it may cause Reid and staff to re-think and examine their strategies.

I don't think some of you have been Chiefs fans for very long or have at least paid attention. We won the same way the Broncos are winning now back in 03 and they said we couldn't stop anybody, we wouldn't win it all, etc. While yes that was true, it's because we're in the heart of America (flyover country, as Tony Kornheiser calls us) as to why we don't get "respect" or the much needed kudos that some of you are searching for. That's it. The Broncos are going to go down the same way they went down last year but the media doesn't want to hear it because of Peyton. We could be playing outstanding ball right now and it wouldn't matter, they'd find a flaw and beat it to death. We don't have the golden boy or an outstanding player on our roster or a player that's out of this world, we don't play in the media capital of the world. I really don't care. It's extremely hard to win in this league and you take them anyway you can get them, and you try to improve every week. Every team has flaws, it's the team that masks them the best that comes out on top and gets the most ouf of their strengths...so far, that's our Kansas City Chiefs.
