Denver Broncos quarterback Peyton Manning has two ankle sprains, league sources said.

Peyton Manning suffered two ankle sprains against Jacksonville on Oct. 13, according to sources.

Manning suffered both injuries, including a high ankle sprain, during Denver's victory two weeks ago against the Jacksonville Jaguars, the sources said.

Manning suffered the first ankle sprain on the Broncos' first offensive play against the Jaguars, the sources said. The four-time MVP sustained the second sprain when he was hit low by Jacksonville's Jason Babin, according to sources.

The high ankle sprain was aggravated during last Sunday's loss to the Indianapolis Colts, when Manning was sacked for the second time by former teammate Robert Mathis.

Got through it today... but that's not going to help his arm strength any.

Considering his recent decline in arm strength, this is not a huge surprise.

He has thrown some ugly passes over the last three weeks.

They'll probably lose today because of this.

So the bye comes at a perfect time for him.

That's probably the most success Jacksonville will have all year.

I want Manning to be at his best when we play them. I don't wanna have to hear any bullshit if we beat them once (or if we beat them twice somehow).

Eh. If you watched the game, the offense didn't look great. Turnovers played a big role.

If he is injured our comeback would be, that's what you get for having an old QB. Heck, I want our team to knock him around and make him limp a bit as well.

They have two weeks off. That's time enough for nankle surgery.

If I were Manning, I would just be done after this year. Those through guys go through so much pain. Walk away rich and alive.

When we play the donkeys the 1st game, I could care less if we win or not (not true but would be a good trade off). I just want to pound his ass into the turf over and over again.

Hard to beat a team 3 times in a year. I say we split in the regular season or maybe lose both but that's okay as long as we play them tough and beat Payton into a bag of meat.

come playoffs he wont want to get hit and will start the good old payton toss and turn.

Did they transfuse his ankles into his neck?

Those big money guys can pretty much help a family member retire every week.

If they don't do shit this year, he should just walk, heal up and enjoy life.

Denver will not get better next year.

I think it's a foregone conclusion that the Chiefs and Broncos will meet in the playoffs (#5 vs. #1 in the divisional round, most likely). I want it to happen in KC.

Won't happen in KC for the playoffs I'm afraid. If we do play them in the playoffs it will be in Denver. Our offense is horrid and our O-line play is even worse. Not trying to be a Debbie Downer here but Denver beats us twice with them 'toasting our ass' on Nov 17 and in KC it will be a closer game and a better chance to win IF we get better play from our O-line all the way around but the way it stands I'm not expecting us to beat Denver at all during the reg season. Manning is licking his chops hoping we stay undefeated until we play them on Nov. 17 to shove it in our ass and make the Chiefs look like Fools Gold. Until our O-line can consistently produce running lanes and consistently keep the pass rush off AS Denver hands our asses to us because we won't be able to keep him off the field thus our D will continually be on the field getting winded and getting winded in high altitude is even worse. Sorry, just being realistic here.

Washington went away from the run game today when they were up 21-7. Why ? It was working keeping Manning on the sideline. But they panicked and Shanny thought he could get in a shootout with Manning and win.

Luck had Peyton's ankles pinned behind that giant forehead last Sunday. I bet they ache.

So, any team that participates in FA is trying to buy a championship, correct? Or is it just the teams that get guys like a Manning.

Manning is the ultimate troll

He let shanarat get up by 2 scores and fill himself with hope to the point of high fiving staffers on the sidelines, then Peyton went 35 unanswed feeding rat face a fatal poison pellet

Manning looked like dogshit yesterday- 3 Ints, a Pick Six and a fumble for another defensive TD. It is a good thing the Skins could not figure out how to cover a 2 yard screen pass in the second half of the game. Donks look very beatable.

I will find great pleasure in watching the Chiefs D run him through the meat masher.

They have to hit him early and often to beat them and I'll enjoy every hit they put on him.
