Seattle was not impressive yesterday. I like SF's chances of taking them in the NFC West. Take the Seahawks out of their sound booth, and they're a different team.

I'll take the Saints over the Bengals.

This is kind of tough. All of the AFC teams are flawed.

If Seattle gets their tackles back soon without dropping any games, they should get home field and be pretty tough to beat. Until then, though:

I'll say - Saints over Bengals

I'd like someone to explain the Colts love to me.

They lost Reggie Wayne for the season. They don't have a running game, as they lost Vick Ballard and traded for that shitbag, Trent Richardson.

They have one pass rusher in 32 year old Robert Mathis but time is against him as the season wears on.

I don't get it.

But until they quit doing it I'll quit doubting them...

They've yet to play a full game without Reggie Wayne and I believe that his loss will be very big for the Colts. Without him, all they've got is T.Y. Hilton and a shaky Coby Fleener.

They have a fairly favorable schedule outside of the Chiefs at Arrowhead and at Cincy, but I don't see them doing anything in the playoffs.

I've watched them several times and just don't see it. And for all the dumb shit that the Chiefs offense receives around here, Seattle's passing game is atrocious.

You seem to have the same problem I do: I don't see a complete team.

No one has one. It's only shades of one side or the other.

The Colts remind me of the Giants in previous years: they play down to their competition but they also seem able to play up to it. It makes them dangerous if they get to where they believe.

This is also true for the Bengals and Ravens and Seahawks but I really think the two I picked have the best combo of talent/desire/ability to overachieve...

I'd go with my top 4 for now as the Saints/Niners and Bengals/Patriots. Even though the Saints have Rob Ryan who can implode at any time. Tough to leave out the Seahawks. If they get homefield that might be enough. People on here love the midget, and they love passing yards... and yet the midget still barely throws for 200 yards a game. Alex Smith averages more passing yards a game than Wilson. It may be enough though with the Seahawks defense and home field. Every one of these teams can get knocked off if the matchups go the wrong way.

This is a very tough question. I still think the AFC champ will be either Denver or KC depending on which gets the #1 seed and home field throughout. But a team like the Patriots or Colts certainly have the ability to pull off a road upset. The NFC seems to be four choices (Seahawks, Saints, Packers, Niners), all of whom are flawed but good enough to do it. If pressed I'd say Packers over Broncos (due to the outdoor SB, if it were indoors I'd give the nod to Denver) but certainly not set in stone.
