View Full Version : Life Should I express every thought that enters my head in an overanalytical wordstorm?

I had a conversation this weekend, and it was suggested to me that I don't need to express every single thought that enters my head.
This is news to me.
I thought the sole purpose of experiencing thoughts was so I could deliver a hailstorm of verbose punishment on the rest of you, for you to absorb, judge on the merits you deem fitting, and occasionally return to sender when appropriate.
Because hell, if I don't express my thoughts the split second I have them, how will you know I have them???
Crazy, right? Right. So.

Sometimes I feel like you should just start a Derickshun Repository Thread. It would be a lot cleaner.

Yes please. You are interesting to me. I am frequently amused by things that you write with your keyboard and transmit via hyper text transfer protocol.

Shit, everybody else does. Also, my use of the ultra clever and super original "tl;dr" would drop far too quickly.

Don't stop, please. I've already downloaded and saved a multitude of your threads in hopes of reading them to my kids one day should I choose to procreate.

If you had any sense of input or accuracy outside of the normal person I'd say yes. But, no.

Isn't original content good? One of the reasons I still lurk.
Scott Pioli still gets to spout an opinion, why not Direckshun?

Tell the truth, you're Dan Harmon IRL, aren't you.
While I'm sure my opinion holds no bearing whatsoever one way or another, I like your threads.

Better than pete threads, that's for sure.
It's getting to the point where I regret logging onto Chiefs Planet after games just because I fucking KNOW I'll see some garbage Pete thread up on the front page.
And believe it or not, I really don't care to hear his opinion about how the Chiefs "won dirty today, and that's okay with me."

If I was trapped inside a giant light bulb and someone turned it, I wonder if I would get electrocuted or if I'd get killed by the heat. And what if it was a fluorescent bulb?

I have Facebook friends whose posts are wittier than mine.
Makes me mad that somebody could be that legitimately faster than me in the ol' braincube.
Makes me wonder where I went wrong.
Or if I went wrong anywhere at all. Perhaps I was dropped as a child, and did everything I could to compensate for it in my adulthood, only to hit the glass ceiling of my childhood victimhood.
I don't even know what I'm talking about.
