Depends on which time. Originally, I believe it was because he posted some personal info about a poster on here (not names, but posted about an event that wasn't especially flattering).

Since then, he's been banned a dozen times, mostly because he has an issue with authority and refuses to play within the rules (granted, the rules have mostly been pretty minor since that first one like filter evasions and that kind of thing).

Unless that's the case, though, I don't think letting people back from a permanent ban is a good idea. The whole idea of permanently banning someone is that it's permanent. If permanent bans aren't going to actually be permanent, eliminate them as an option for the mods and limit the bans to a year, or something like that.

I hate banning but, if you've got it and you're using it, stay the course.
