Anyone do automated Christmas light shows?

I'm looking to either build a controller or buy one. Obviously, soldering your own is cheaper, but I don't know how difficult it is.

Anyone with experience? Input would be greatly appreciated.

I doubt I could get it ready for this season, and the lights will be much, much cheaper right after Christmas (going to do LED).

have not looked into it, if you can't buy a pre programed one or something you can sync tyo a computer, soldering aunt gonna fix it

what did your neighbors do to piss you off?
can't it be fixed with antifreeze
