Alex doesn't track the media at all, but his wife and probably new teammates do. Would be interesting if Alex gets this and obliges. Good dude.. regardless of whether good or not, blah, blah, blah...

20 seconds for a quick handshake and picture sounds like a pretty reasonable request, do it Alex.

This was a classy presentation. The guy was courteous, respectful, and well spoken. Not sure if the Chief's Brass will allow Alex to do this but I bet he would if it is possible.

Is there a way to find out if this gets done?

JFC...yap yap yap yap yap.

No way this is happening.

If this guy was 10 years old, it would be kinda cute. This seems kinda stupid.

Well, he could send his wife and promise not to make eye contact with Alex if you are worried about security.

I'm not really sure what that means.

Stadium opens an hour and a half before kickoff. So sometime within 90 minutes of kickoff, Alex is going to go out onto the field and find this guy in the stands to say hello?

I'm sure some strings get pulled for little meet-and-greets like this for big-time sponsors and sick kids. But this is just some adult guy who wants to meet Alex Smith. I think he sounds like a tool.

First there was two minutes of backstory about how he's a big Chiefs fan and his brother is flying in for the game and is a big Alex fan from back in the 49ers days.

He's just... Well, he's kinda...

Oh, I know...

Huardariffic!

Seriously though, if he can somehow pull this offense together, score some points and win this game? I'll get in his camp. (Until he screws the pooch in the playoffs)

Yes, well they manage the game by scoring 50 points and expecting their defense to hold opponents to less than that.

Alex Smith manages a game by scoring 13 points a game and expecting the defense to score at least 7 more, while keeping opponents to under that.

I am in agreement with a few others. It's a nice video. Though verbose, the guy is well-spoken and seemingly clean cut. I figured it was going to be a request benefiting an ailing child. But when I discovered it was for a grown man with all his faculties... I was so disappointed that I wanted to trip a Downs child.
