You can't tell me our entire defense was based on 2 guys was it?

Can't sniff a QB or a turnover. All they needed vs. Chargers was one of those to win.

If your team scores 38, that's an easy win guys.

Come on!

Every thing the Chiefs do on D is based on pressure. So yes 2 guys will make or break this D.

Pass rush is everything in this league.

Plus they've given up 462 yards/game the last three games. That is not a good trend.

I feel like we were getting pressure early on too, even though the sacks weren't happening, you could tell Rivers was uncomfortable. As soon as Houston and Hali got hurt, he had all day to throw the ball.

If you took Derrick Thomas and Neil Smith off of the 90s defenses with today's rules, how many points would they give up?

No the corners got worked hard today especially Cooper.
And yes I still like Cooper he just had a really horrible game.

Our whole secondary looked like shit (aside from Berry) because they had to run with the SD wideouts for a century, because we couldn't get any pressure.

What cost us this game was our inability to put a man on Woodhead on their final go ahead drive.

Two huge gains by a running back catching out of the backfield.

They saw something and absolutely exploited it.

That was your game.

It looked like 2008 all over again.

Game was over before they started that last drive.

No adjustments whatsoever. You're walking a tight rope if you expect to play man coverage on every play and win every time.

Especially with zero pass rush. Should've changed to zone. I know it's not the style of the defense, but you have to with no pressure.

The Chargers offensive coaches found something that worked against our defense.

Our coaches couldn't come up with a plan to shut that down.

I like Sutton. I want him to be our defensive coordinator for a long time. Clearly, however, he's not infallible.

Its, Poe, Hali, and Houston. Everyone else is looking pretty average.

What's up with Flowers? As much as Cooper is getting toasted, why hasn't Sutton swapped them out? And did Flowers make a tackle today?

I guess you didn't see Flowers get toasted today too?

uh no. Defense has looked like shit for four weeks, even with starters. NFL has figured out Suttons plan and made them useless...How many sacks and pressures over the last four games? How many yards given up per game?

I think its time to mix in some zone. Especially if we cannot rush the qb.

If anything DJ is is the only defensive player that shows up every week...

If you take 2 studs away from any defense or offense in the league, they will struggle.

What gets me is they completed the exact same play twice. Once happens, but twice in a row is inexcusable. Failure of the defense to adjust.

Guy on the radio said chiefs have blitzed 13 times in 2 last 2 games... Pretry sad if true
