The Seattle Seahawks set the Guinness World Record for loudest crowd roar at an outdoor stadium during their week two game against the San Francisco 49ers at CenturyLink Field with a howl registering at 136.6 decibels
The Kansas City Chiefs broke that record on October 13th against the Oakland Raiders with a roar of 137.5.
Seattle re-broke the record earlier this week with a slightly louder bellow of 137.6 decibels against the New Orleans Saints on Monday Night Football.
Not to feel left out, the Saints are going to be attempting a record of their own on Sunday – loudest crowd roar at an indoor stadium, according to Mike Florio at NBC Sports.

The Guinness World Record for the feat New Orleans will be attempting to break was set by the Sacramento Kings back in mid-November against the Detroit Pistons, registering at 126 decibels.
The attempt really couldn’t come at a better time as the Carolina Panthers come to the Superdome tied atop the NFC South with the Saints at 9-3. Every little bit helps, right?
Sacramento’s arena – while a more condensed space – seats only roughly 17,000. The Superdome will be packed with as many as 72,000 Saints’ faithful for the nationally televised Sunday Night Football game.
