Bowe has 52 receptions and ~600 yards, 5 TD. He's behind the running back in receptions, yards, and touchdown receptions. He has no multi-touchdown games and only one game with >5 receptions. Most glaringly, Bowe has zero 100 yard receiving games this year.

He's only been 3TD and a hundred yards or so more productive than McCluster.

What's the deal, here?

we only scored 56 points and clinched a playoff berth.

somehow that's not good enough.

If you hate Alex Smith.

Its alex smiths fault.

If you are objective, and actually see what is ACTUALLY going on, for instance like on the deep ball, Bowe didn't fight for it at ALL.

Bowe, is holding BOWE back.

I didn't say anything like that.

He doesn't fight enough for balls. Like the long bomb to Bowe, he simply puts his hands out and lets the defender knock it away. That's been an issue for him this season from what i've seen. Also, Alex spreads the ball around and has to get used to Bowe not getting great separation. I think Bowe would make for a great number two if you guys had like a Gordon here.

Weed makes sense, would be surprised if he smoked before playing. The dude looks laid back playing.

For the most part we didn't need him to produce big today, JC was the offense.

That, and Axl doesn't go his way very often, he definitely seems to prefer spreading the ball around so defenses cant focus on just one guy... i don't have a problem with Bowe today.

It's strange.

He doesn't recognize he isn't AJ Green or Calvin Johnson physically.

Crabtree isn't either but he figured that out and knows he had to be really scrappy and out work the DBs he goes up against.

Bowe is just sloppy and lazy and will throw up an arm up.
He needs to be sharper with his footwork and attack the passes that come his way. He appears to be on autopilot.

Anyone still worried about Bowe's numbers is an idiot.

I could care less about Bowe's numbers. We win...I'm happy, period.

Smith has never been a guy to look for WRs. Some QBs never target their TEs. Others operate almost exclusively in the short middle, and Smith is one of those guys. Furthermore, he doesn't drive the ball in tight windows.

It will keep the INT totals down, but it will also depress a WR's numbers, especially when he's the only legitimate pass catching target on the edge.

Really hard to criticize Bowe today. It's just not how the game played out. We had short fields, Charles was Beasting on long catches and runs.

This analysis is completely incorrect, because he's been throwing into tight windows the past couple weeks.

The "deal" appears to be that people continue to complain, even when this team clinched a spot in the playoffs and hung 56 on a hated rival.

Who gives a flying fuck about individual player stats? Aren't most fantasy leagues over? This is the real shit. TEAM wins and losses.
