He does ZERO positive on the field. His negatives are huge. Bad coverage, terrible tackling, horrible angles, and worst of all no football insticts.

Why does he stay on the field? For all the great things this coaching staff has done I do not understand why this guy is on the field, let alone on the team.

This is what amazes me. Feels like we pull our corners instantly whenever they make a single bad play, but Lewis is fuckin up play after play after play and never gets yanked. Put in Abdullah for Christs sake and try somethin new

I still don't know why they don't just stick with Cooper as the CB, move Robinson to FS and get Lewis out of town via Greyhound. A lot of Coopers issues have been due to lack of over-the-top help as much as anything.

Lewis has contributed almost nothing whole hurting us multiple times in a game. Try out Abdullah or demps and slide Dunta to play in dime. There is literally nothing to lose. You can't play much worse than Lewis has. It's not like he's making a few stops a game followed by terrible. Mistakes. He is never around the ball AND makes mistakes on the side.

You guys are being too hard on him. He only misses about 12 tackles a game, 7 errors in zone coverage per game, 1.5 dropped interceptions that hit him right in the hands per game, and 5 locks of hair that I rip out of my head per game. That's not that bad. Chill.

We play a lot of 46 type looks with Lewis as the long deep help with Berry playing in the box.

Didn't he have a shoulder injury? I'm wondering if that is playing a role in how bad he is at tackling. I mean, most of the time it seems like he purposely avoids contact. I'm not saying he'd be anything other than a bag of crap, injury or no injury, but my god I'm trying to think of reasons for him being THIS AWFUL. Maybe his injury/injuries still bother him but he doesn't say anything because...well because he wants to start and get money.

On the corner blitz when we sent Robinson and TY Hilton caught the big pass (and fell down right after), it looked like it may have been Berry's fault as he was the closest man to him; but Kendrick let Hilton go to occupy the same short zone as Demps or Smith (I can't remember which). I obviously don't know the defense called but it seemed obvious that Lewis blew that coverage.
