Well if you have a coach who doesn't think his team and school is worth visibly getting into the official's faces on national TV, this is what happens.

Gary is too into looking cool and not rocking the boat to help his players get calls. Officials tend to feed on teams that are coached by weak coaching staffs. It's just nature.

Now, if Gary had thrown a fit over any number of those calls, yes he'd taken some heat, perhaps even got 15, but just like the other nature, after that the officials know they're being watched and they instinctively make sure they don't make mistakes. Remember, they're human!

As much as I thought Mangino was a joke, I thought his "Dolla signs" comment was totally awesome, totally accurate, and he was right to do it, but unfortunately it was just a little too late.
