View Full Version : Chiefs When did you start to have a bad feeling during the game?

Mine was at 630pm (eastern time) when a friend texted me "U celebrating yet? 4 TD lead."

I responded I responded "Not yet. Lol"

As I typed that, the Colts scored and got it down to 3 TDs. I was not laughing out loud.

The Colts average time of possession on scoring drives was 2 minutes and 32 seconds.

It's funny because whenever we played a no huddle/quick offense, we were terrible. Colts, Denver x2, SD x2. The best teams in the league can run that offense yet we can't stop it?

Just got back from the game. Started feeling good at 38-10. Once the Mathis strip happened, I knew it was over.

The type of beatdowns a franchise can do to you to KNOW the Chiefs would lose when they are up 21 late in the 3rd is a special kind of fan hell.

This is the same team that had a 35-10 lead on the Raiders and blew that lead for a period. It actually reminded me of that game, only difference is Luck is 100x better than McGloin.

Just having a big lead like that made me uneasy. Forcing Luck to throw it every down against our shit secondary was a recipe for disaster. Not to mention our pathedic DC refusing to pressure him. Throw in no JC to kill the clock and we were doomed.

The scariest part is that Kendrick is MUCH better than who we had last year. I can't believe it but here were the other safeties:

The only time I let myself get hope in the game was when Trent Richardson fumbled and we recovered. I thought hell yeah sweet for the Browns to make that trade. Then short lived hope decapitated Colts kept scoring and not a damn thing we were doing to stop them.

Didn't matter at the end if we scored with 1:40 left on the clock to go ahead I just knew the Colts would go right back down and score so it didn't matter if we fucked it up on fourth down or not.

Sometime around 5 minutes left in the 3rd quarter, I don't remember the exact score, I kept thinking "there's a ton of time left and we're are doing nothing bleed the clock".

I actually knew we'd lose when Alex overthrew that sideline TD to Gray. Kind of crazy too, considering we were up by 10 at that point in time.

Mathis's strip sack. It waked up the "Oh no, here it comes again" feeling. This has been a bad postseason football wise for me. First Wazzu shits the bed in the New Mexico bowl, then the Chiefs shit the bed even worse in the playoffs.

I think I just have crappy luck as to which sports teams to be a fan of. I am also a Mariners fan so that sucks as well. The only bright spot is the NHL and well the Devils aren't expected to do well this year since Kovalchuk decided he wanted to play in Russia.

When Charles was taken to the locker room. There is apparently no fucking lead too large for this franchise to blow. Bob Dole had a friend stop by and stay until halftime. She was shocked by Bob Dole's consistent "Oh just wait...it's coming" attitude.

Until it was over. She's no longer shocked.

I don't think my roommates fully understood my general pessimism/wariness towards the Chiefs until yesterday, when the game felt lost with a ten-point lead. What a teachable moment that was!

Just watching this pisses me off. Only play maker they got and Sutton has no corner on him? Just Lewis and Demps

He just blasts by our CBs.
