View Full Version : Football Ric Flair - Traitor Scumbag

Why would a N. Carolina native and longtime Panthers season ticket holder switch sides just when his team is getting good again? It really is baffling, giving aid and comfort to the enemy... what a douche... this move made no sense at all.

The death threats are obviously over the top, but what kind of reaction did he expect?

To Kansas City fans this would be the equivalent of "handsome" Harley Race going out Indy last week to give them a pep talk before playing the Chiefs.

Although I doubt anyone in Indianapolis knows who Harley Race is..

Why Not?

Well, except that Niners didn't play the Panthers last week.

Perhabs it's all part of slick Ric's master plan and he feels the Panthers matchup better against the 9ers than GB.

I dont have a personal stake in this, the op title was only meant to reflect how many of the Panthers fans and team probably feel, but maybe it would've been a good idea for him to rally the Panthers instead, even if they didnt offer him money... it could've only burnished his rep.

Didnt know he was flat broke as Hamas said, but it really isnt all that surprising I guess, so many of those guys end up that way, cant manage their money worth a damn... but I wouldnt have traded the goodwill of so many of my fans for whatever the Niners paid.

He can always schedule a few more $100 a minute phone/skype chats... have fun trying to sneak back into Panthers games next year, Rick.

First Goodell with a possible Freudian slip,""One of the great things about the NFL other than it's unscripted is that every team starts the season with hope." And now the 49er's actually paying a former wrestler for a pep talk.

I met Ric Flair once and got his autograph on a dollar bill. When I was in high school, I wrestled at this national tourney in Pontiac, Michagan and Flair was there watching his grandson wrestle. After he signed the $1 bill he looked at me, smirked and said, "it's worth $100 now, big guy." He was pretty cool.
