Yuppp. When I warmed up for wrestling meets/tourneys during HS and college events, I always listened to the song, "Snap Your Fingers Snap Your Neck" by Prong on repeat in my handy-dandy disc man. It gave me an adrenaline rush. As dorky as this sounds, reading some of Dane's posts gives me a similar adrenaline rush sometimes....if I ever decided to participate in the MMA stuff (I'd stand a chance...there are 3 dudes from Iowa who have succeeded in MMA who I dominated in wrestling...and I also have a relatively flawless boxing background, but didn't take it as seriously as wrestling...the MMA atmosphere in SEI is a joke, yet the area's cream of the crop are still looked at as potential proteges by the Militich training camp which is located a measly hour away from me), I could literally read a Dane post and become all hyped prior to fighting...Even if I don't agree with him, I can't help but think to myself, "GET'M DANE!" while I am reading his posts.

Thig Life is awesome and what makes him awesome is the way people perceive him. He reminds me of Andy Kaufman. Some people get the "shtick" and some don't. What makes him funny are the people who don't get it and the way he gets them going...and keeps them going. It's gold.

Go Chiefs is the shit. Period. Funny as hell, and I can't get over how quick he is....like how quickly the dude is able to read, comprehend, respond to in intelligent and or hilarious/trollacious fashion and then in the blink of an eye, move on to the next thing in the same fashion. We are literally fortunate to have him as an integral part of CP.

Milkman...although he is a self-proclaimed asshole...who probably thinks I am a douche....not to mention, the way in which he whores himself out for attention especially when it comes to popularity contests can be annoying (chill out Mm...it's sarcasm). His football takes are entertaining, to the point and simultaneously informative.

Boss. He always brings a smile to my face. I always see him posting shit that I have thought, but have never posted...for example, his comment about having to google terms that Hamas Jenkins has used. I share the same admiration for Hamas. In fact, one time when I was all hopped up on adderal and taking a study break, I repped Hamas for a post, simply because I learned like 3 terms from his post in which I wasn't familiar with prior to reading. Hamas probably thought I was a flake for my rep message that was something along the lines of "dude, I LEARNED like 3 terms from the 1 post you wrote. You are one intelligent person!!!" I blame the adderal. Anyways...I also shared Boss's Stanzi-love... which was cool. I also get a kick out of Boss's admiration of Milkman. I'll see Milkman post something, and it is always inevitable that Boss seemingly perceives Milkman's posts as gospel and there is roughly a 99.9999999?% chance that you will see Boss taking the same stance as Milkman after reading a Milkman post. Just wait...in the next popularity contest thread, Boss will be all like, "I hate contests more than anything." It brings a smile to my face and I'd be a liar if I were to say that Milkman didn't, at least to a moderate extent, have the same influence on my own football views...I am still learning this shit, which is why I generally refrain from spewing my football views, for I am not 100% that I know what I am talking about quite yet...but am collectively learning because of people like Milkman, Boss being Milkman's parrot, tk13, DJ's Left Testicle, etc.

Hamas, pretty much for the same reason that Boss likes him. Plus, he's a Cardinals fan.

All Cardinals fans except for one of them who rubs me the wrong way, which is why I don't generally post in the Cardinals super thread. And no, it's not Big Red Chief, who I regrettably went off on in a Cardinals thread because I thought he was calling me a bandwagon fan...which he wasn't...that was my bad. I genuinely felt bad about that and he probably doesn't even remember it. Someone else.

Flybone McTimmerson, PGM and Nzoner. They are the closest CP users I have been to becoming friends with outside of CP. Heck, I think Flybone and I follow each other on twitter. PGM and I have always hit it off...plus he's a Cardinals fan. And Nzoner was going to let my wife, friend and I crash at his place for training camp last Summer...in which we all had to back out of due to some babysitting/school issues. Another note about Flybone: the dude cracks me up with some of his subtle shit that seems to fall between the cracks.

Phobia...we have common acquaintances and we are able to talk Iowa track to a minimal/moderate extent. I get the vibe that I annoy the shit out of him with my verbosity tendencies, but I don't care. Iowa. Plus...this dude is faster than I think people realize... I mean that in terms of physical capabilities. The dude is quick and presumably all-around athletic.

That dude holding the fish in his avatar is pretty cool. We own a cabin on the Mississippi and frequently go bank pole fishing...I'm sure this dude can relate, which is awesome. He's always been nice to me.

patteau has always been nice to me, but he's a bit over my head sometimes. I like the dude, though...seems well-intentioned to me.

Brianfo...most of us remember him from the suicidal ideation implication thread that he created a couple years ago, but I remember him from that...plus a really, really, nice post he made in the wrestling forum. It made me think to myself, "my God, this dude is legit...I wish he'd post more Chiefs-related shit...I could learn something."

Sorter...I don't have any idea what this dude's background is...meaning I have no idea whether this person is a dude or dudette or a Milkman or a youngster. He comes off to me as an EXTREMELY bright dude who is younger than me....probably in his mid-to late-twenties (judging by our common wrestling acquaintances). What I do know about the dude though is that he is a genuine wrestling fan, which is awesome. He and I are following two different levels of wrestling at the moment..he follows primarily college wrestling (I think) and I have a difficult time making time to follow college wrestling at the moment for I have a bro who is rated 4th in the state in HS and my youngest bro who just won his 4th grade school state title (an 8th grader and hopeful future D1 prospect...****, his record this year is 43-1 with 36 pins, 4 techs and his one loss being in OT to a Kansas kid of all places, named Jake Beason). I've seen enough of Sorter's input to know that he knows what he is talking about regarding wrestling though, and MMA for that matter, although I don't always agree with him when it comes to MMA predictions and/or observations. I am more wrestler-biased than he is. When it comes to FOOTBALL, this dude is so knowledgeable that some of his input comes off as foreign to me...like, I need to start off with Milkman, tk13, DJ's Left Testicle and even Boss Chief before I even attempt to try to understand Sorter's seemingly intelligent football takes. This guy comes off as a very intelligent kid to me...I hope CP doesn't lose him when he finds bigger and better things to do with his life...like Dane.

I think he brings a lot to the table in terms of football discussion and I wish he would give up on the Browns and 49ers and be an exclusive Chiefs fan, but at the same time...I like his range of knowledge of ALL the teams in the NFL. My opinion on Rain Man - He will hold a conversation with anyone. You may not be a regular, or a 1000 post a day poster, yet he will listen to anyone, and discuss things with anyone in a respectful and intelligent manner. He puts effort into his conversations as well. It seems he honestly enjoys conversing rather than trying to promote his post count or inflate his internet ego.

That's just my take on the guy. He seems genuine.

Just think about all the times you've seen the same joke posted several times in the same thread, or you think of something funny to say only to find someone else has already posted it, or how often people default to running a word or phrase further into the ground... all of that should make you appreciate the originality and thought that goes into his posts.

While other people are hilarious in their own way, his posts are much more cerebral and calculated as opposed to someone who (while they may still be funny) comes off like they're trying too hard to be funny.

I guess some might see it as dry, since it often lacks the emotion and directness of someone like Hamas or Iowanian, but IMO it adds to the brilliance.

I'm currently very active in the Iowa high school and youth wrestling scene...I do radio for Southeast Iowa events and assist with some of our local youth tourneys, in which to youth wrestlers, the wall-chart (that's all I EVER cared about) isn't as important to them as the nice trophies they take home. I'll have to keep you in mind for the next Mepo/Burlington/West Burlington youth wrestling tourneys next year...I am an influential force in the organization of all 3 of those youth tourneys, and all 3 of them attract 300+ entrants. I'm assuming that would be a nice score for y'all. I dunno, drop me a line next Fall sometime, considering I am not off in terms of my memory of you stating that your family is in the trophy business. You've always seemed cool.

Ah yes. I need to pop in some GTA 5 again some time. I haven't played it in a while. I've been playing a lot of single player stuff on PC lately. Max Payne 3 most recently, but I get to a certain point and it freezes every time so I'm stuck. Argh.
