It was a clear pastiche of Kung Fu movies.. From the story structure to the usage of three "wise" masters who were logically portrayed by the main cast as part of the joke of the storyline. Sure, they wore asian costume and the women had Asian styled makeup but it's not like they spoke with a contrived fake Asian accent. It seemed crystal clear they were acting like characters in an established genre, not as generalized depictions of Asian people.

If anything, saying that the three masters of the stories shouldn't be portrayed by white people in "yellow face", then the argument has been made that only Asian actors can be in Kung Fu styled productions.. which is racist.

FWIW, it was a pretty blah-to-bad episode, but racist is not something I'd call it.
