Dilfer on the radio going off on people that don't believe he will make it in the nfl. Says Manziel runs a 4.3 forty and is bigger than most people think.

Heh. I figured Dilfer would hate him because his fundamentals are bad.

He may have run a 4.3-4.4 a couple years ago, but he's been slowed by a knee and adding weight. That said, he's awesome and isn't going to rely on pure speed anyway.

If teams are dumb enough to pass on him all the way down to #23, I'd take him.

I'd take him, but he's gonna have to use all that stuff as a last ditch effort.

Beat defenses with your arm from the pocket.

If any team is thinking Manziel is going to be able to beat defenses with his arm from the pocket, they are going to be disappointed. His arm is the least impressive part of his game followed closely by his ability to read defenses.

I wonder if in Dilfer's baby photos he had a head shaped like Stewie Griffin

Why would Manziel be a better prospect than Kaepernick, or Griffin before him? Those guys have the arm and more size.

If Dilfer is intimating a homerotic fixation of Manziel's penis then that's very creepy new to me, because Manziel looks no bigger than Jamaal who's an 185 pound man himself.

No, ESPN loves Manziel, thus every other analyst better tow the company line.

Think Tebow 2.0

These players aren't close in any way to each other. Manziel is infinitely the more talented QB than Tebow.

But I've got that same vibe about Manziel that I did with Tebow. I don't think he's going to make it in the NFL.

Manziel has an it factor. I hate the guy, I know hes getting drafted by the Browns, the browns will showcase him, and bow to his ever wish like the Redskins did. Jersey sales, HOOPLA, hell, probably even hard knocks. Cleveland will be the start for espn.

And then reality sets in.

He is not cut out to be an NFL qb.

Short term gain, long term set back.

Probably goes the Ryan Leaf route sooner rather than later. When success doesn't come despite having Josh Gordon, and Jordan Cameron.

They will learn what the 49ers are going to learn... that a running QB can sell jerseys and win games in the regular season and make ESPN fawn, but they can only take you so far.

Manziel is everything that Dilfer isn't.

Manziel is everything that Dilfer isn't.

But in the end. Their careers will be pretty similar id bet.

Mediocre, and not being worthy of where they were drafted.
