It sounds gross.... but I'd try one. It's a spicy sausage, and there's little doubt that spicy and sweet play well together, as do salty and sweet.

I doubt there's much Skittles flavor that comes through, so I'm thinking it'd be similar to adding sugar to the sausage mix, which isn't all that uncommon.

And since it's hot smoked, I'll be the Skittles break down, so it's not like you're going to be eating a bit of sausage and all of a sudden chomp down on a grape Skittle.
